Product Description

Propylene Alginate is also known as hydroxypropyl alginate with a white to yellowish granular and powdered structure. It is a synthetic liquid which is soluble in both hot and cold water. The liquid is thicker as compared to water and forms a smooth a viscous solution on mixing with it. Propylene Alginate is mainly used as an additive in food processing industries to enhance texture, flavor, appearance and shelf life. It also acts as an emulsifier to bind together food ingredients such as oil and vinegar. This solution is used to prevent sickening of food items with one another and to avoid forming of clumps.
