It is colouring agent which is used to impart yellow to light orange color to the food products confections, cereals, gelatine products, icings, jellies, spices, dressings, snack foods, beverages, condiments, baked goods sauces and yogurt. Tatrazine has a chemical formula C16H9N4Na3O9S2 with a molar mass of 534.36 grams per mol.
