Cupric Sulphate Pentahydrate 98.5% Extra Pure is a crystalline, odourless, and metallic tasting inorganic compound with a purity of 98.5%. It is highly soluble in water and commonly known as Copper(II) Sulphate or Blue Vitriol. This Fungicide, Algaecide, and Animal Feed Supplement is widely used in Agriculture, Industrial Applications, and Laboratory Reagents. Its molecular formula is CuSO45H2O, with a density of 2.286 g/cm3. With a boiling point at 150C, Cupric Sulphate Pentahydrate decomposes before melting, and has a pH level of 3.5 to 4.5 in a 5% solution. This product is classified as a Pentahydrate with the CAS No. 7758-99-8 and EINECS No. 231-847-6.
