Product Description

Ethyl Lactate is laboratory chemical which is flammable in nature and can be found in alcoholic beverages. The compound on heating to decomposition results in the emission of acrid smoke and irritating fumes which may cause serious eye damage and irritates the respiratory system. It is miscible with water and other compounds like alcohol, ketones, esters, hydrocarbons, oil. Ethyl Lactate has a density of 1.03 grams per cubic centimetre at 20 degree Celsius. It appears as a colourless liquid with a buttery ethereal odor and combustible when comes in contact with oxidizing agents. It can be used as a food flavouring agent and in cosmetics products like soaps, lotions and creams.
