White Dextrine is an intermediate product between starch and sugars derived from starch.

Special Features : White dextrine is of light colour and pasty. Cooked and cooled solutions set to soft pastes rather than firm gels.

Uses :

Textiles

For finishing (crisp organdy).

Adhesive

For binding other ingredients.

Fireworks

For paper to paper adhesive and lined card board boxes.

Foundry

For good core binding.

Pharmaceuticals

As a carbohydrates nutrient source in the preparation of certain antibiotics by fermentation.

In cigarettes manufacturing In food industry

They are used in a situation of show assumable polysaccharides in contrast to a readily assumable carbohydrate such as glucose.
